The texture on this one, in the greens and yellows is just stunning. I loved the little bit of lbue on the back of the sleeves.

I wanted a subtle, less brash design. Something that was almost black or midnight blue, but still had personality and detail.

Ely Mennin Show Reel

A few months ago I did some design work for my buddy Ely, whos an editor at large.

We were really inspired by Russian constructivist propaganda posters of the twenties and thirties. I also wanted a true hand rendered styled to the illustrations.

I was asked to make some concept designs on how the Anoldi artwork could possibly translate into custom NIKE Air Force 1's.
